Tough racing on a great course in Tollymore, well done to Dromara CC on a really professional set up.
I had a close race, managed to stay with Robin and Jason for the first lap until they pulled away. I pulled out a good gap to stay in 3rd for a few laps only to be caught with a couple of laps to go and didn't have the legs to bring it back. Well done to Terry on his race. Big thanks to Terry nipples for lend of his flying Focus. Congrats to Robin and all the medal winners. Now to get my Mtb out again!
Hard day out tough course had a poor start and loss places had to go chasing no idea how I finished will have to wait for results either way had a good race ,course required steady pedalling and plugging away only 50 metres climbing per lap had some good battles trying to move up a few places on soft ground
Big thanks to Dromara for running well run event from sign on to finish excellent facilities for parking, toilets ,food,course marking etc definetly setting a high standard in event management
Great to see Colm going so well no mean feat keeping up with Robin and Jason for so many laps ,congratulations on his fourth place still left a lot of contenders behind him
