Im going up to Navan to do this CX race on Sunday, anyone else thinking of going??

Im half thinking of doing the B race,it starts at Noon.

I had planned on doing it, but not feeling the best. Good luck in the race.
Colm McGarvey put up a great performance in the A race,started on the back row of about 14 riders,and was in the lead after the 1st of 5 laps.Sean from Bray wheelers had a mechincal (chain/rear mech) 100 metres from the start,and lost a good minute sorting it out before setting off again.He was already up to 4th by the end of lap 1!!!Colm led till the start of the last lap,were Sean took lead,and Colm was now 2nd with a roadie on his back wheel.At the finish Sean was 1st (ride of the day),the roadie got the better of Colm for 2nd,but only 10 seconds later Colm came in 3rd.Great gusty ride from my favorite Nordie!!!
I done the B race,finished 5th.
Good race put on by Navan CC,course was flatish,there was a long drawn out drag up the back straight to the finish line.Course was 2km,all off it off-road and most of it as boggy and draggy as hell.

Ive enough of A races,finishing 80th out of 90 riders is killing my buzzz for CX race's!!!

Well done today yourself, was a good course with a couple of nice technical bits thrown in.
Fair play to Navan on a great race, would be great to see the CX season extended into the year. The chicken curry at the end went down a storm as well esp on a cold day.
Really enjoyed the CX buzz this year, roll on the new season!
