Ticknock to Leadmines ?

Is there any way to get from Ticknock to Leadmines trying to be on trails or back roads most of the way.

Have a day off work tomorrow and the possibility to have this link have been in my mind for a few months, so want to give a try.

Thinking about this option.

Over to Fairy Castle on the Wicklow way, get down all the way close to the Collite Uper Trail end on the fire road, go to the right and down the Fire Road to Jonny Fox, down the Hill and turn Right on the Enniskerry Road and Cycle on the Road to the entrance close to Palmers.

Is there any other way to be more on trails then on the road?

its roads - you could cut through fields and gardens but its mostly road

Yeah printed out the maps, it's more or less the way i was thinking. Was just hoping that there was some ways to be off the roads, but i guess is all private land so now shortcuts.
