Newbies and what they would like to learn

Hello,
While I'm 100% behind the likes of Glyn and Niall Davies making a living from teaching people Mountainbiking. If you are in EPIC, you shouldn't have to pay to learn how to ride your bike.
Not only that we have at least 2 nutrionists and access to another one, if luke would let her out of his house.
My point is I'd like to get something more structured going.
You will learn a lot more from going on spins and asking questions and watching the cool kids ( those of us who have been at it a while)
But maybe an actual series of training days might help people.
So, what do you think and what do you want ?
Richie
ok everybody needs to calm down..i'll answer all your questions systematically..
so you are all deadly and don't need a few tips and pointers..
everybody can change a tube and fix a broken chain
singlespeed a bike ?
counter " The Knock" ?
Mind the danger ?
grand so..
expect even more abuse on spins then..!!
Funny..even after 20 odd years of biking I'd still like to be able to go faster up and down..
Corner better and dig deep for longer..
mmmm....
I want someone to teach me how to jump so that when I land I dont break something. I am actually serious
I'll help out Richie. not saying I'm deadly or anything, but I know bike mechanics, and have some skills. limited, I'm sure, but helpful to complete rookies.
Every body and anybody,,,,(except anyone who is better than me and there to tell me im doin it wrong),,,
is welcome up to cloon next sunday,,to improve on there downhill skills, get confidence, and just enjoy downhill more,,,
Its somthing that i have always wanted to do in the club,,ill try my best to help anyone that wants to be helped in LINE CHOICE,PUMPING,CORNERNING,,JUMPING,,BRAKING,ANYTHI NG THAT YOU WANT,THAT ANNOYING SECTION IN A TRACK YOU JUST CANT GET,AND IF YOUR LUCKY POPPING SHOULDERS AND KNEES,(ONLY JOKING NOTHING MAD),,
SO IT WOULD BE REALY COOL TO GET THE NEWER YOUNGER KIDS OUT,,downhill skills are for life,(like when your goin to the shops on your bike and your front wheel washes out on dog **** you dab the foot and keep goin, always comes in handy),,
I feel like bit of a tit puttn myself forward to do this but i dont think its being done in the club, and always wanted it to happen,(bar richie and the girlie sessions up in cloon),lots of people in the club that i know want to start downhill,so heres your chance,,i want to see all sorts,

A refresher in First AID would also be useful. Some of who have done the REC2 course.
I aint no trails boss or anything but i know my way around a 6-pack and Road gaps ...if people want to learn the skills how to jump, a place to learn manuals, dead-drop high ledges 3-5ft (there's large Rock outcrop in St Anne's Park I go to), ride berm’s and lean the basic pump track, Like Cummins I’ll be willing to show people who want to learn... I've notice a good number of people who are keen but don’t know how to go about it.

Put me down Richie..
