Ballinastoe Thursday 1st, 6pm.

Okay, I'm heading up to Ballinastoe tomorrow evening for 6pm to finish off the top forest section. I'll be cycling up, doing some cutting etc and then a run or two down the course if anyone wants to head along.

What tools do i need i for this type of work i have a pick axe ,shoval rake ,saw .a chopper thing for branches .what will i need...john

trim the new forest section as well after the gully, actually if you have time open up the end of the gully after the big berm

Well that was deadly, myself, Kellyer, Andy, AndyW, Paddy, Darragh and Don headed up to the top forest section and left Marko, Lucas and SteT down near the bottom as they were on foot. We got everything done up the top we wanted to do and then had a great blast down the course. Came across Ger, Steve, Max and Basil and a couple of others down near the new section and they'd done a great job with the ramps up and over the wall. A few of us headed back up and had another run down. It's gonna be a deadly course. Cheers guys.

Oh, and poor Mick had a blowout near Enniskerry on his way out, hope you got sorted okay Mick?

That was a good nights work, good gang out, it was like American loggers with the hacking and slashing. I had a solo run down, then a mini run from the Expressway, then a last full run with the lads, tiring with no uplifts.

The track is by far the best yet, fast and flowy but you need to grab it by the scruff of the neck, finesse will not be rewarded!

yep, it really is a crackin' course.
