In 2012 it is unlikely that we will be running any events and thats not a bad thing. We have run something spectacular every year since we began.
So even though I am putting together a Focus MTB team, I will still be at the heart of EPICmtb with Alfie, Jack and the rest of the Committee.
So a lot of us are feeling browned off and generally disillusioned with Coillte, The Offroad Commission and MBI.
F cuk them all.
This is what we are going to do, we are going to win everything, we are going to dominate the XC NPS, The Niall Davis Euromillions events, whatevers going.
So unless you are going to race then goodbye.
My experience so far is that committed racers make the best members. They know the value of being in this Club, sure there are freaks like Don who don't race but their contribution to the Club in other things is immeasurable.
So, we dont want passengers and people who just want to flute around, we want all our members to be savages and represent us 100% out there.
I don't care if you are crap, you join EPIC and you race. I don't care if its DH,BMX, Road, XC, Adventure, Road, hill running.
And tell us on the forum about your adventures.
But don't stay if you are just going to flute about, the other exceptions are Killian and Victor because they like Don have made huge differences to us over the years.
