Oh your very funny aren't you!
I might head down, but the longer course is 35 km, which is a bit long for me. Anybody been down and done the white loop? Whats it like? Will it take me all day?
Haven't been there in ages, but it's a good mix of fireroad and singletrack like the lower loop in Ballinastoe, so the speed would be high enough over the 35k...
by the way, Graham is a complete gob sh ite..not only did he not have goo in his tyre and he brought no tube with him, the tyre was a 2nd hand one he bought in OC tuning the day before.
Oh yeah, XTR pedals but a baldy 2nd hand tyre from a non club shop !
the most important thing on an mtb is the tyre, its the only part of it in constant contact with the ground.
Darwin award for you Graham.
And no I will not be going to Ballyhoura. The trails are drying out and its getting warmer but best of luck to those of you taking part..
In my defence your honour there was sealant and Alfie's sorting me out with a new Conti or Schwalbe...

The white loop is handy enough and if a slow fatty like me can get around 2.5 hrs or there abouts an XC racer like you who actually trains will fly around it.
