Alright folks, the race season approaches, whether its road, BMX or XCO..so that means spins will suffer.
So we need a brave, charismatic, dedicated person to turn up every week at a designated spot to run a spin every Sunday at 10.00am.
When I started EPIC I had to turn up every Sunday regardless at 10.00am at Lambes cross, sometimes it was just me and Eamo, sometimes it was 40 of us but I turned up every single ****in week without fail and thats why you are all here.
I gave up my membership of Team WOrc and a glittering semi pro career to hold the hands of legends like ALfie wallace and Damo Mulchrone so they could be superstars.
But thats how great things are made.
Now I need somebody to take over.
I have been let down badly by people who have promised to do this and now we are without a SUnday Spin leader. We need one.
Colm does a great job on Saturdays and we would be lost without him. He took that one on without being asked so he deserves a massive thanks.
RichardL is the Tuesday training leader and we really appreciate that !
But the Sunday spin leader needs to be sorted.
The Sunday spin should be for everybody regardless of their ability.
How many spins did I lead at the start where people had to walk and Superstars had to wait in the cold at the top of mountains.
If you are not going to races or not training for races then you are obliged to consider this role.
Its needed more than we need superstar races, the Sunday spin is the heart of the CLub.
One has to happen every Sunday , no excuses !!
