Club Course on Strava

Hey.. Just a thought I have... as a lot of us are using Strava now, I wonder if any of our members have created Segments for the club course?

Anyone with a login to Strava can view the course, now its not a great map and Strava currently don't have a feature where people can download segments onto there Garmin or Smartphone, though I am sure it's only a matter of time before that feature is enabled..

If so it would be best to delete the Club Course/Leadmines segments or at least mark them private?

I'm sure there are lots of people looking for "new" trails other than the Coillte one's, have seen posts on other forums for people looking for trails, so now not only the course, but other trails are on Strava....

You're better off educating newcomers about the trail use etc. rather than hide it from them, there is no point you would be just wasting your time.

is he fcuk anyone can find them on strava and ride them without ever meeting anyone who can' 'educate' them !
