Ballyhoura Gravity Enduro today

Well I will do a report later kids, suffice to say it was absolutely brilliant, fast, savage hard, ferocious transitions, inclement weather and great craic..I tell you, its what its all about , well done to Stephen Pollack who got 3rd in Masters 35 to 40 ! Damo would have won the 35 to 40 category but he rode in the Pros where he got 6th all with no practice ..I don't know where Orla, Dave and John got on but they all had a great day out..it was so much better than Ticknock, the trails were amazing , I enjoyed it more than Djouce too and its even deadlier to get the win again..its a real shame that it was so poorly attended by EPIC..If I thought any of you would get a podium I would be there to see it..

Yea, have to say that was feckin deadly, really enjoyed it, stages were great. Im still on a high after it, partuculary stage 4, it was brilliant, came soo close to a massive crash i dont know how many times on the top half of it. Was my first gravity enduro and have to say its a great format for a race. Was lying 4th behind Stephen in the 35-39's when i left for home but not sure if anyone came down afterwards and beat my time.

well I was dreading it, the pressure was on, I had no practice and I'm in a very bad mood at the moment and that doesn't help !

Unreal days racing ! My first enduro but defo not my last....well done Richie on another win ! Stage 4 has to be the highlight, so many sketchy moments a total buzz.... Great format too, kinda like a mega Sunday spin with your mates !

Brilliant day, the trails were super and exciting. Hitting these trails at warp speed for the first time keeps you 100% focused. I am still buzzing here after the day. Well done Richie on another brilliant win, I was sure Orla would have got on the podium but there is always the next one. As John said its a brilliant format, whether your an xc rider, an DH rider or just a cyclist like most of us. The lads and lassies in Ballyhoura and Niall and the team at Biking.ie done a great job.

Sounds mega, since Richie hopped on board that Zesty he's won everything. Well done the racers, it really is a winning format, next year will be huge.

like Dave Kelly said, is like a megatastic sunday spin..today was hilarious, from Sean ( Herlihy ) and Gav overtaking us in our Team Van, in a freakin Micra with the Baby on Board Sticker ! they had two Nukeproof Scalps inside the thing !! to having the craic in the Car Park of Ballyhoura, having the craic with The Greg, Dave Lawless ( he talks more than I do ) , Glyn O Brien and Jimmy mac..The monster climb up Seefin, Karl and Gary Ennis and the kids supporting us, holding James O Carrols hand ! the smelliest toilet in the world, hosing each other down, the Hot Chocolate, Steve on the Podium..the Farmer Marshalls ( Holy Jesus there were even girdles up their ) the Burgers, DaveK and llandai actually fizzing with excitement. EPIC was created with this stuff in mind..
Fair play to Orla..
we have more women than anybody in EPIC and there she was on her own, she was with us for a while but after stage 3 , we turned on the POW and lost her..but I know she still had the craic..
I still think the times between the stages should count..
