is that Coillte or Mental Meitheall..same thing under Bill Murphy though.. did they block the original pog trails ? I see they are felling indiscriminately in Barnies and building part of the Dublin Way at the same time..they must be the stupidest ****s in the world but hey, we had to apologise to them for doing something great and they still said **** off when we applied to run a race..
I'm fed up giving out about Coillte and Cycling Ireland and the offroad commission and all the other ******s that make a mockery of us..i think I'll follow my great grandfathers example when dealing with ****heads that don't belong in Wicklow..

on the plus side when they build the boardwalk from the wicklow way to the pog it will be a handy alternative to the boggy section between daffys and the pog

you can get through if you walk around all the spiteful malicious obstacles .
in fairness, it makes far more sense to run the WW through the forest rather than the tarmac road. I'm sure you can work around it Jackson, build a bridge over it or something!
funnily enough i did think about a bridge and no it makes complete and absolute gob****e sense to run that section of ww through the woods when one of the most scenic views in ireland is by the roadside.

you get that view from the boardwalks and if I were a walker I would much prefer to avoid the tarmac anyway. The WW has been criticized before due to the fact that very long sections of it run on public roads which makes it neither enjoyable nor safe for the walkers.
It has definitely nothing to do with us and all we can do is to think how to use it to our advantage, you can incorporate this into your existing trails, I cant really see anything wrong with it to be honest.

i dunno how you found that but when someone drove a 360 over and back the top of the hill and left pegs with numbers there it was fairly obvious something was happening.

I have written so many replies to this thread but I can't write one that doesn't insult an ethnic group or special needs charity..! I miss the days of mountainbiking when we all agreed on everything. I liked that era of solidarity. We got a hell of a lot more done. THere was no issue with licences or permits and the only people who spoke were a small handful of people who had actually contributed to the Mountainbike scene from scratch..whether we like it or not our Community is under threat.
Everyday some goober comes along and decides whats good for the sport and what Mountainbiking is.
Heres a complete gob****e talking through his hole, this guy believe it or not was responsible for running the XC NPS this year and helped get us banned by Coillte . He urged people to report other illegal trail users to the feds.
