2013 events

seeing as its nearly 2013 who is doing what , what are people training for , whats new , whats going to be savage , whats 2013 all about ??

Definitely trying something hard this year... have my eye on the Transalps but need a partner of similar ability

I may be available Oz if my attempt at the Blindfold Trans Siberian Unicycle Challenge doesn't work out.

Its all about the Gravity Enduros..i am working on a Team for that and me and Smithers are seriously considering that Bluegrass tour ..I would have put together an XC team and done some XC but with no XC Calender , I dont see the point. I will concentrate on the Enduros and maybe some DH with the ROC thrown in and the Passport de Soliel..I'd love to do the Transalp Oz, but not this year..its just on my list for when I get too old and feeble for the real MTBing , where Mountainbiking is still involved..
I also forgot to mention my 32 County spins..

i have to agree on the Enduro buzz as all the dates are out and people can plan for it!
Although im sure there is hard work behind the scenes for the xc calendar.
So im doing xc and enduro
above all Irish events i will defo do Bluegrass event in UK [Scotland] and maybe one in France but would like to go with a gang.
And if i have any money left we will Roc on the Beach.

And while everyone is thinking about what they would like to this year can i just say the the level of skill in EPICMTB riders is high and anyone who has not tried Enduro should pencil the first event in as you dont know what your missing..

Me and Smithers are definitely doing Scotland and we are looking at Sicily and France as well..use your XC bikes for training for the Enduros. I'd love to see the XC NPS go well but with a road cyclist, a Polish fitness fetishist and a Canoeist in charge , its very unlikely.

just enter it..the craic is legendary ! and your well good enough , you don't need to jump or be anyway dh orientated..you'd be brilliant Terry ! the people who haven't done it and should are you, Harri, Clom, Coyner, Jackson, The Culchie, Ronan O, Erica, Brian W, Chris Cambell, Phil T, Eoin Keith, Doris, Annesley, Max Van Der Lee, Rasher ..Carols going to have a go , we are a club well set up for this, When you consider the amount of Podiums and near podiums we got in it this year , come on, what I like about it , is that its exactly what we started the bloody club in the first place..I think every body in EPIC should have a go at least once .
The day out in Ballyhoura this year was the best day out in the Mountains I had all year, me, Steve and Damo did it together and it was absolutely brilliant.

ok im going to enter now, if i enter one race does that keep a slot open for all the others or should I do the €200 for the 5 races special deal price?
What do you reckon, and is the lapierre yoke up to the job?

you can enter them all or just one.. but no doing one doesn't guarentee you a place in the next one and the lapierre will be fine , its not DH
