Like we did last year to be in EPIC mtb you will need a Cycling Ireland Licence.
There is to be no exceptions on this and as it’s pretty much the one rule we have in Epic, so please respect it.
for our Club there are basicly three licences you can get:
1. non –competition
2. restrictive competition (mtb racing)
3. full competition (Mtb and road racing)
(Any other type of licences are for the road clubs)
To do this all you need to do is visit the CI website and either renew your current 2012 licence or apply for a new one. All issues need to be directed to CI ( all I do is approve you as an epic member) but I will help where I can. This year CI send your licence to your directly in the post.
We are planning on having this years Epic membership night on Tuesday 19 Feb and will be held at lamb doyles pub, from 7pm til 8.30ish. Please ensure that you have applied for the CI licence by then. On the membership night People you have applied / paid for a licence can join, and is will be the only chance you get.
Why not have it in lamb doyles? "Just saying" as they are very good to us and I think they deserve the business. Plus it's way easier for most people to get to
do u think its worth getting the A4 full licence? I have never raced on the road but like to maybe try it.

Up until April 1st you will be able to buy a "Day Licence" but after that no more day licences will be permitted so if you want to do a road race you will need a full competition licence!
