Dear members..
Its only fair you know this sh*t , we have been running more than one event for years and any money we make from them goes straight in to the Club, from buying tools, tents, etc to funding the AGM and trophies for the league.
However we missed a year and while we are not entirely impoverished , we got a bit carried away with our extravagant AGMs !! I will be honest, I think that the extravagant AGMs are the biggest plus about being a member of EPIC. Why not, we all work hard, play hard and win national titles, we run the best events and every one of our members is an exceptional rider. We deserve these little rewards !
Now we have been lucky to get Glendalough House ( G Ride ) for the NPS..this means one big thing to us, we are now independent of Coillte, we no longer have to bow and scrape to them for a venue and even better,we no longer have to pay any attention to their rules.
However this independence is expensive, I wont say how much but what I will say you can trust me and the Committee , when I say its worth it.
We can afford it and already some generous people have come forward to sponsorship us, this is great but theres 75 people in EPIC and I would like to open the opportunity to sponsor the event right here ..some of us have businesses of there own and this is what I'm looking for.
1. Cold hard Cash.
2. Goods or services
What a potential Sponsor gets is exporsure, that nice warm feeling of contributing to the best event of the year and the adoration of their peers.
Now, I would be happy to accept companies as overall sponsors and partners or category sponsors, whatever you like , we will all be grateful.
Whatever you do as a member, be part of this as a volunteer, a rider or as somebody who just posts a well done.
