Skills sessions / coaching

Hi All

I'm currently in the middle of the MBLA training, finished all the parts of the course and I'm now entering the 'consolidation period' of 3 months before my assessment.
The assessment involves skills coaching sessions which I need to be capable of delivering in a few different coaching styles and teaching techniques.
So, I need some practice!

I'm looking for some volunteers that I can practice on, go on a spin and do a few coaching sessions and look for your feedback what works and what doesn't

I'm free most Saturdays and I would like to do 2 sessions, 2-3h each.

The skills will be:

- manual
- bunny hop
- lateral bunny hop
- drop-off (slow and at speed)
- step-up (slow and at speed)
- high speed cornering
- pumping

I'm looking for a group of experienced riders, it is not suitable for beginners.

Doesn't matter if you are a deadly rider, I guarantee that you will learn something new and get a chance to improve your skills! And more importantly, it will be fun :)

Post here or contact me via FB or txt if you are interested

Awesome. Happy to be your guinea pig ( and refresh my skills which have gone seriously rusty).

Let me know when get set. Away this weekend and the weekend of April 19th but should be available all in between.
Absolutely. If anyone finds any of the sessions too challenging we can work on some basics and progress from there.

I don't want to be hijacking your Saturday spin but it seems like it's the same group of people that's interested so we could do it before the spin maybe?
About 20min per skill plus some warm up.
Djouce would be ideal for the first session which will cover the manual, bunny hop and cornering. I'd say 1h on top of your normal spin, or just cut the spin shorter.
So shall we start this Saturday then? Djouce? (don't worry Gary I can do a catch up with you next time)
