I was up in the Leadmines this evening and I'm afraid the end of the 3rd section is also unpassable after today's felling!

I was told its END Networks. They are clearing the sections below and adjacent their O H lines so there shouldn't be any more as felling near the course.

That looks about right Conor - there's a 10-15 metre wide band running the along the side of the forest that picks up the lowest section of the 2nd section and the bottom of the 3rd! Once Coillte clear the big logs it should be relatively straightforward to clear the rest of the debris from the existing track. In the meantime we could clear temporary routes in a couple of hours with a decent crew?
I don't expect coilte to clear the aftermath. Il be up there today/this evening clearing as much as possible
It looks to me like they've prepared the bigger logs to be removed Oz (stripped them of branches etc) - after that I would hope that we can clear the rest without too much trouble! Have a look and see what you think. In the meantime I think we can divert around the areas with a bit if work?

Hopefully that's the end of it. Would it be a good idea to postpone rd4 and get as many bodies up as possible thurs eve and get stuck in?

It would be a shame to loose a nights racing - I'm going up tomorrow evening to make a start. I haven't seen the damage on section 3 but section 2 shouldn't take too long to clear. Anyone else around 6.30ish?
Jaysus, it'd be great to get it cleared before Thursday but I just can't get up before then plus everyone is usually geared up to be up there on thurs evenings so we'd get loads done between us all...
