Ballinastoe Blitz 1St Feb 2015

This year the Blitz is expecting to have up to 500 entries across all categories.

I have attended this for the last few years and one thing has always struck me is the number of riders who appear not to be a member of any MTB club.

So this year the club is going to take the opportunity to promote it’s self to these riders who all have bikes , fitness and skills.

The proposal is that club members approach riders as they queue at the registration area introduce themselves hand out a leaflet, invite on a new members spin for the following Sat 8 Feb answer any questions.

Information of the contact details for the Club and some back ground on what the club has to offer will all be on a leaflet to distribute.

For this to be successful the club needs your support so what can you do ?

Let me know if you are available on the day to give a hand.

Registration is between 9.30 to 12.30. Main race 1.00pm

Good man Terry and Adrian, I will be around to give a hand on that morning. Another opportunity would be the biking.ie charity spin the week before that usually attracts a big crowd a lot of whom may not be attached to any club.
