Marshals for the NPS on the 7th of June 2015

Hi all

I will be organising the marshals for the NPS on the 7th of June 2015 being hosted by our club Epic MTB at Glendalough House, Annamoe (Co. Wicklow)

I need a commitment from people to do marshalling during the races. This involves being stationed at a designated point along the track for safety, directing competitors and managing the safety of onlookers.

The race schedule on the day will be

Start time Category 11:00
Under 8s,Under 10s,Under 12s
Start time Category 12:00
Under 16s,Senior Men 4,Senior women 3,Under 14s

Start time Category 14:00 Senior Men 1, Juniors
Senior Men 2, Senior Women 1
Senior Men 3, Senior Women 2

Prize giving
13:30 Under 8s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s and Senior Men 4 & Senior women 3
16:00 Senior Men 1, 2, 3, Juniors, Senior Women 1, 2

On the day I hope to have enough volunteers to have 2 groups of marshals
First group for the morning races will be required to be available from 10.00am
Second group for afternoon race will be required to be available from 1.00pm
Of course you can volunteer for both groups if available

To marshal for the morning or afternoon or both
Please let me know which you are available for.

Hi Terry I can also help out in the morning but would like to race in the afternoon as iv never ridden there before and was broken last time we all raced there.

I'm on holidays for this event so sorry Terry can't help you out .

Count me in Terry I can do the later races don't mind.

I won't be racing so I can marshal in the afternoon.

I'd like to race too so see what you can do as love to help out also.

I'd do the afternoon Terry after my race at 12 if thats ok

Envisage need for 10 in morning same in afternoon would be great to get people who may not be racing on the day any family friends your nearest or dearest ?

There are approx 80+ members in Epic.

Its the same people all the time who volunteer for everything and the same people who don't. In order for the NPS to run smoothly people need to volunteer to help out.

Terry - I can do taping course etc. Saturday - I'll be working (in Germany) from Sunday morning for the week! (flip-sake!!!)
