personally I can't face 3 rock, Kindlestown or Balldaffyd
We need to redo the whole top of the Ewoks..as Bigorgan said to me, the normal punters need something to enjoy before the reach the ewoks
I have a plan for Cloon, Glendo, Djouce and Curtlestown.
But people other than me, fergal and Robin need to be building quality XC tracks, I know Brian Cribbin has built a doozy in Donadea but we need some decent ones ..
I've an idea for a track in Glendo..I want to call it Tyranasexual..big dangerous and sexy
i'f everybody built an hour a week we'd be laughing.
1. Such energies would be best expended on buiding a really deadly course for the Blast.
2. If we want to build new stuff we should avoid areas like the Leadmines, 3 Rock etc - way too near civilisation and thus full of walkers, not to mention lower forms of mountain biker (of the sort who dig chicken runs around easy roots). Good areas would be the likes of Curtlestown, Annacrivey, the place across the road from Ballinastoe (Sleamaine, Ballinafunshogue), or possibly some of the stuff at the west end of the Dublin Mountains - Seahan, Ballinascorney, Lugg, Slievethoul - though this would depend on people being prepared to drag their arses further west than Massy's Wood.

Beth & me spent a bit of time a while back clearing a track in Altidore. There's loads of potential up there. Well worth a look, its vast & there are very few walkers about. With a bit of work it could be really good.
There is a spot you could incorporate with daffs up my country.
Its off the beatin track over the far side of Garth Te Coke heads place.
We did a training spin over there a while back. You know when you cross the road at the bottom of the pog/was to be the interruptive centre..over that way heading for lough dan.
Skippy that's the bit I was talking about. Could possibly be brilliant if it's not too far away for people to travel and dig. Nearer than Bendalough.
The place near the firing range could be cool too, though I though a lot of it got cut down a couple of years ago. Maybe that's not quite where you guys have in mind though.
