I had never targeted this race so I went to it tired after a heavy block of training for the Emerald Enduro, I was doing daddy day care Saturday too so no practice either! Met up with Mick on race morning and tried to have some fun on the natural stuff and push hard on the trail centre sections. Really hard to commit to the tech stuff racing blind but it was kind of enjoyable in the muck. Short but very tough day on the bike, managed 5th in my class which is bang on for having no practice. Massive congratulations the Mick who came 2nd in super vets, fantastic result plus he was only 11 seconds of 1st, well done!
