Im looking at doing 2 stage races next year...
First is MTB Trilogy in Czech Republic (5th - 8th July). Its a four day/stage race on technical trails. Incorporated into normal stages there are "enduro-stages" that have separate timing & placings. It's ridiculously cheap and flights to Prague or Wroclaw arent too bad either. Details here;

The second is the Sudety MTB Challenge in Poland (23rd - 28th July). A few of us did it last year and it was great (hard but great). This is a 6 day/stage race on some great singletrack etc. Cost was around €1000 for everything (race, hotel, food, flights, transfers etc). Again, this is very cheap compared to the TransAlps etc. Details here;

If anyone has suggestions for any other events please post here as it may spark interest from others.
