Youth cyclocross championship

What a day's racing at the youth cyclocross championship on Sunday in corkegh park. It was a great experience. For the first lap and a 1/2 I was sitting with a group of lads in around 6th. I made a break and dropped them. I was now in 4th. I realised I should have broke away earlier as I spent the rest of the race catching up. It was around a 30 second gap or more and I had cut it down to 15 seconds with a lap to go. On the final lap I pushed till I felt sick and cut the gap to 8 seconds at one point and was blown up coming across the line. It Was a good experience but would've liked to get to get 3rd. Can't wait for next cx season
