If after the order arrives & there just happens to be a small short sleeve jersey floating about that no one wants I'll buy it peeps, regrettably didn't order one & cud do with one
SO, the club gear will arrive this week - well, most of it. The factory made a mistake with the long sleeved jerseys so they, apparently, will be with us next week.
Once the first part of the order arrives, i'll bundle it into the individual orders and leave them in Expert Cycles.
Just so you know... as ever, the order took forever to put together. this was caused by issues with club members and issues on Spin11's side of things. On the club side, delays were due to some people not paying on time, others changing their orders directly with Spin11 and not informing me. On spin11 side there were mistakes with the number / sizes of different pieces of gear which (due to people directly contacting Spin11 to change their order) took a few days to resolve.
From the time that the order was finalised and paid for to delivery was 9 weeks. this is roughly 3 weeks longer than promised.
My plan for next year is fairly simple: You will be given the option to order gear on the member's evening. You will pay for your gear on the members evening. The order will be submitted the day after the member's evening and the gear will be with us a six- seven weeks later. My plan is to go with a different supplier who does not have a minimum order quantity. For people who want to order gear at other times of the year - you will be able to go directly to the supplier.
I reckon any new members should certainly purchase at least a jersey... And no harm for existing members to do the same after a year of sweatyness on the bike!
Thanks Dave. I like the idea of being able to order direct from supplier if necessary, would be great to get an Enduro jersey in smaller sizes, Spin 11 tops were too big for the vertically challenged. Club skinsuit would be great for CX/road racers.
