Between the spin of the year on Saturday, The big turnout at The Djouce Trail Challange and the hugely successful uplift day in Cahir, that was a brilliant weekends biking.
The Djouce Trail Challange wouldn't been as good without the craic we were having. I was extrememly impressed with the level of skill of the club riders. We started at the back and between my incredible puncture escapade and the messing we were involved in we saw some savage amount of walking.It was easy enough to follow people the wrong way, so the results are all over the place . It was definitely a Challange to ride the whole course.
Anybody who finished it and who never raced before should be well impressed, I thought it was a particularly hard course, the climb up outside the fence and leaving the Foxglove climb to the end was savage.
So well done to all the new guys who had a go and finished and a huge well done to bothe Eoghan and Cian for gettting medals in the under 14s.A sign of things to come !
