Leadmines FR/DH Trails - Directions please?

Evenings getting longer, looking forward to being able to get out after work from next week on. I am hoping that one of you kind souls might be able to point me in the direction of the trails up near leadmines?
Preferably bouncy bike stuff please. I heard murmurings that there are some DH'y type stuff up there.

well Glenn, there is some stuff on Barnaslingan, but while it sees a fair bit of traffic, theres serious issues up there with parking and walkers moaning at the Forester.
Particularly at the weekends , actually especially at the weekends.
Personally I don't think its worth going up there unless you can pedal around everything, my advice to you and anybody else is to go up above the Blue light and build some freeride trails there, I'll have a chat with you on Saturday about it .

Fair enough. So is it mostly XC stuff up at leadmines?
Is the walker problem as bad in the evenings?

no its definitely ok in the evenings its just the weekend , wait til Al organises a Tuesday and he'll show you around !!
