Update on EPIC CX race 21 Oct 2018
A lot of the pre race organisation is in hand âTape, numbers, timing ,loos ,signs ,barriers, commissar, mc, planks, permissions, insurance, course ,trophies plus list of other things big and small from acquisition of generators,gazabos and on and onâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦
Over the weekend event registration will go live and the count down will be on to race day.
What is now need is for members to confirm that they are available to volunteers on the day.
If your new to the club this is a great chance to meet other club members off the bike and give something back.
Garry has volunteered to organise the Marshalls, Volunteers and will have a post up on forum for you to add your name to so no being shy now.
On the day people will be needed from 8.00am to knock down tidy up about 4

Work that will needs to be done
Course preparation mainly grass raking as the council have volunteered to cut the long grass again this year so thanks to SDCC parks will post on forum when this can be done
On the day will need people to set up barriers, tape course, registration, marshalling the more people available the less for every one to do.
