Membership Fees 2019

Hi All,

It is that time of the year when people will start renewing their Cycling Ireland licence. So, when you renew, please remember to pay your club fees as well. You do this by...

1. Log in to cyclingireland.ie
2. Click Renew Membership and add that to the 'basket'. This will bring you to the 'checkout'.
3. Click on the main menu (top left hand corner of the window/screen)
4. Click on 'Buy Club Fee'
5. Select 'Member' from the drop-down list
6. Click 'Buy Now'
7. Check the details of your order. The total fee for a Limited competition licence (€80)and membership (€35) is €115.
8. Click 'Pay with card'
9. Fill in your card details and finalise the order.


This is the process that I went through this evening using a desktop computer (Mac). It should be the same if you are using a phone or tablet but post up here if you have any issues.

Club Membership year is 1st Jan to 31th Dec same as Cycling Irl
Please renew both now details above on how to

EPIC MTB

As Terry has said, your CI Licence needs to be renewed... this gives you and the club cover for taking part in club spins, club races as well as open events..

You will also need to pay €35 to support your club, it's half the price of a good mtb tyre..And without that you won't have full access to the club forum.....


If you don't have your CI licence then you're not covered to come out on any club spins.

Just renewed mine now .... 'cause I made such great use of it last year!!

Would like to say thanks to the members who have renewed there licenses and payed their club membership fee for 2019

Has come to attention that some members have renewed their License with Cycling Irl and not added their club membership so please revisit and add 35euro the club needs the money to operate.

stuck in a circle of pain - I've now managed to pay club fee - says this is to be approved before CI License . . I might be stupid - but they could make the process a little easier in terms of being able to find the club membership and linking the main license . . .

The CI website is infuriating

Agreed. I wonder how many memberships they lose every year because people just give up. Really poor design.

Dave’s list above saved me. Steps 3 & 4 are the bits CI try to hide.
