Sad to announce the passing of Lawdie's Dad Johners yesterday morning.
Many of you will have fond memories of Johners from the Epic AGM's where he would enjoy a pint of the black stuff and having a chat.
Appeared in the Golden Ball a few times during the Club League. Remember having an interesting conversation about tug of war. He was a champion at that sport in his day.
Sincere condolences to you Lawdie and your family. Johners will be sadly missed.

Reposing at his home (Reamount Farm Eircode K45 P921) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and on Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. MacCullinâs Church, Lusk followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
