Club Facebook Page

Hi All

The club operate a facebook page here
https://www.facebook.com/EPICMTBDublin/

We'd like to make sure we are getting the most out of it, to promote the club to the outside world

I notice all the posts are made by the account holder "EPIC MTB" and Lawdie is doing a fair few selfies. Lawdie are you "EPIC MTB"??

I tried (ages back) to upload photos of a spin I was on to the FB page, but was blocked by some restrictions on the site. Anyone else ever had this problem or is it just the case that no one is bothered to upload photos?

The contact us link takes the user from FB to the epicmtb.com website. This is OK as email contact on the epicmtb.com website is working and manned by a club member. I wonder should we also support contact via FB messenger? I'm not volunteering myself for that, but maybe its something we should consider.

Any other ideas about how to make the FB page better?

Actually, the FB messeger link seems to be active. So, we have someone answering those messages?

The club face book page is a public page being used to promote and share info re events updates to members and the public so is not a closed private page hence why it is not possable to post to page as club would be respondable for all that would appear on page the good the bad and indifferent

As far as I know only admin can post to Facebook page, think there is 4 or 5 of us approved. Could we give admin approval to more club members?

I don't think that it is a case of more people but rather a few people that cover the regular spins, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday + someone on the committee. It's not necessary to post up a something from every spin but a nice shot or interesting pic will keep our profile up. I'm not volunteering for this as I'm not on FB, instragram etc.
