fast times ..great results !!!
fair play to the timing people tonight - perfect set of results - no fiddling needed - that's what I like to see!
That was brilliant tonight. Not sure how us lads ended up at the sharp end but it felt good. Curse those IMBRC chaps, I had a right ding dong with Gar, I'd gain on him on the single track and he would pull away on the climbs, this went on for the whole race. Tonight for the first time I felt I was racing, trying to catch people and then being able to get past them, bit of anew concept for me, dropping Cathal on the last climb was particularly satisfying as he is a mountain goat on weekend spins. And I'm delighted to finally break the 15 minute lap, the course was just riding so well it was a night for good times. Thanks to the time keepers, great job as always, hope you had your bug spray and I hope people have finally cracked shouting their numbers. Also thanks to Gerry and Fergal for capturing the event, I nearly rode over Gerry at one point, can't wait to see what they have.

Great night's racing indeed Don. I also had a good dice,right from the start as Rusty,he was starting on my time and I had all my racing lycra on and light weight Sidi's too. I had to go like the clappers to get away from him what a buzz.The track was the best I've ever seen it,fast,flowing and dusty makes for fast lap times.Thanks to time keepers and all who gave a hand. Look forward to seeing some of the video clips that Fergal might have captured!!!!
some fast laps there tonight i suggest we drug test Dorris. For a man that never trains hes fierce quick.

Thanks to Fergal for his lean-mean-racing-machine, & yeah flat-shoes on SPD pedals is a recommendation I wouldn't make to anyone! That's some bike Fergal, you must have got the mini scale out to weigh each component? 0.0001g - Thinks to self 'Too heavy!!!' Nice bike. . . ! Great race, nice to talk to lots of people in the pub . . & the sun . . . the pint after - what an evening. . . Thanks everyone!!! Superb!

What a night - dry track, hard racing (for me anyway!) and a couple of pints in the sun with the usual craic! It really doesn't get much better! Many thanks to the timers, Gerry and of course Fergal!

Well done folks..its absolutely brilliant to see so many coming back every week ..some craic after you left Richard...the Blast Video is just about ready..I was going to hold on to it till the AGM but I think we'll have to session through the recession with a night out !!

the laptop timer was a bit late in starting so there's about 3 mins to add to the first lap times but other than that all is well, nice one Pernicketty L for spotting that, I'll adjust it later

Nice! After last weeks debacle that was a bit of a return to form.
Kept it handy on the first lap. Then tried to put a bit of power down on the second. Loads of encouragment from the timekeepers and photographers. Trying to catch up on the next person while being careful not to blow up.
Couldn't shift out of the granny ring for lap three. Which got strangely tiring towards the end. I wonder would I have been better off stopping for 30 seconds to figure out what was wrong?
Only just manged to flounder past RichardL on the climb out of section two before Don lashed past me on the final sprint.
After hyperventalating on the ground for a few minutes at the finish line Don and myself went for a quick belt down the fast descent in Barnaslingan, flat out, no pedaling, great.
The bloody front mech fixed itself on the way back to Palmers.
Kept it handy on the first lap. Then tried to put a bit of power down on the second. Loads of encouragment from the timekeepers and photographers. Trying to catch up on the next person while being careful not to blow up.
