i'm very disappointed by this.
we are very well represented in the other categories.
Personally i have had my fill of racing, I've been doing it since the dawn of the sport.
But i go to support the club and to watch the people i've kicked , abused and coaxed to race.
XMTB put on a great show, people like Sean and Fergal break their hearts to make these things happen, the least we can do is go along and wave the EPIC flag and cheer our friends on,

You're right Richie - apologies! It just seemed like a long way to go on a beautiful day for 45-50 minutes riding while Djouce was calling out just down the road! By next year I will be fit enough to ride Vets (I hope!) and I will turn up for the lot!!!!
Djouce was still there today and it was in excellent condition..though its getting a bit of a goober infestation these days !
Well don't come to me when you and Smithers get your arses handed to you in France in Septober !!
Had to work today (and Saturday) and with the Club race on Thursdays it's hard to get a decent length spin on the bike! Still as I've said I should have made the effort and travelled!
Well I was being extremely lazy and slacker like as I was lying on the beach down in. Brittas. My excuse though is similar to Richard's, just felt it was too far to go, especially the way sports riders have been treated in previous races this year, eg, shorter course, no results! Next year hopefully I'll will be fit enough to do masters and then I'll make more of an effort!!!
