Ross came storming past me on the last run up to the line, think he might also have just pipped Terry McDonagh to the line too. The speed of him up the hill was something else. John.

to my shame , I nearly was, believe it or not..i had 3 choices..Art in Dun laoighaire, marine Biology in Galway or join the Army and kill Gooks..but I joined the Army and drank myself stoopid !! that was 1980 !!
