that was a mind and body wrecker of a race,
all I heard all race was Roo shouting
"on your left baby" all night, even when there was no-one in front of him, it was a mental ploy to destroy me, it worked too >:(
"how is he passing that many people?" I kept asking myself

Savage race, the greasiness made it lethal in spots..You should have seen the rage of Satan on me when I discovered I had a puncture on the start line..but no goo in the tyre !!
I'm heading to the stupidstore with a class A dirty nuke this morning..
then Eamo gives me a fcukin Schrader tube..! then my canisters blew up and the pump I stole from somebodys camelback sucked the air out of the tube ...aaaaargghhhhhhhhh..
still great craic in the pub afterwards...!!

That was a bleedin grind, all the roots were out to get me, I nearly bonked on lap 1, my tyres were too hard this week (I went mad and put 40psi in both) and my front wheel nearly fell off at the end, oh yes, and my lower spine, holy jaybus the pain. I lay in a bush of nettles in the end for relief. Still, nothing compared to Richies nightmare. 9 seconds quicker than last week, with this kind of progress in another 40 years I'll be at the sharp end.

Oh yes, and that Ciaran lad was freaking me out, like that truck in Dual, I couldn't loose him.
