Well, tough little course, fast start into rocky/grassy climbs.. up over the top.. sharp 180 turn and up a steep gully climb... over some rocks... into flat muddy sections..
very short lap which led to a lot of traffic on the course...
Rained all day too which didn't help...
I think Emmet may have been 2nd though was sent out for more laps than he should and took a wrong turn
Young Terry took off like a scalded rabbit at the start so was defo 1st M60!
I was not first m60 i was well down the list
as Graham finished ahead of me look forward to starting before him next week or at least Graham after me
tough outing great to be back racing regardless of the weather had great race with Donagh swapping places several times both in our own zones of pain giving our max
impressed with the number of epic jerseys out to day

Let's just say in shook after that . Darragh loved his race and was happy. Roll on the next one, it was great to see the other Epic'ers…… through the blur…
That was a long time coming, was planning on doing the whole nps series a couple of years ago. The course was really challenging, a complete contrast to the blitz last week. Very rocky, muddy and techy throughout with a long hike a bike climb to mix it up further. Only Got 1 lap in practice so felt like I was learning the course as i raced, picked the better lines and made the least mistakes as the race went on. Overtook the lad in 3rd position and felt very comfortable I'd hang on to a podium but missed a turn and had a lap less than i was told i had so came in just behind him. The lap numbers were fluctuating like the stock exchange! Was told I'd 4 laps left after what felt like an hour, then i was told 2 and the next lap my race was over. Happy with the result all things considered, looking forward to the next one already. Great to see epic jersey's on the course, fair play to everyone who raced.
