Yep I am. Tony is as well and Oisin. All on the Saturday. I'm off at 11 but left early with the lads in djouce.
looks like is a motorway race. All colite trails. 2 new ones though. Hope you have your pedal legs on.

Happy days, didn't think they'd use much trail centre. Surely they'll have some natural stuff mixed in too.

Yes, 10:35 start for me too. Stages 2 and 3 are the new trail centre stuff, no natural sections at all :(. Stage one has some natural sections and finishes off on expressway, the fast trail centre one

Niamh is also signed up so should be a nice few epic heads there :D

Great buzz out there today really enjoyed that. Some great Epic results with Jon who came in 5th and Niamh, her first ever enduro race and she managed a podium spot coming in 3rd after 2 months off the bike with a broken wrist! Super stuff guys! Emmet, Jason, Kieran and myself made up the rest of the EPIC crew.

The stages were a mixed bag. St1 was long and very fast, 2 was shite, an xc trail more than enduro with long pedally sections. St3 was very good, the new black trail with a bit of everything on it, jumps, drop offs, roots, rocks....great trail. I had a big crash on my first run at 3 that messed up my wrist a bit and the bike was making some nasty crunches afterwards, either freehub on the way out or bottom bracket. Winched the bike back up for another round and managed to get a clean run so called it a day. Came in 16th out of 41, happy with that!

Well done Niamh! At that rate it won't be long before you take the no. 1 spot on the podium.

Would be cool to do a Saturday spin to take in the gravity enduro trails from Ballinastoe and Djouce in the one spin.
