Club Champs 2022 - Help needed preparing the course before next Thur

Hi All

Starting a thread here to coordinate work to be done to the club course before we run the Champs race. The plan is to have the race next Thur evening in the Leadmines, instead of the normal club league

The course route will the same as last years champs, (with the new section 1 piece included)

AFAIK, the main work is to clear ferns on Willits trail. Going into it, and coming back out, at the top end.

Shout here if you can give some time for this

I can head up early on the day of the race and mark out with race tape the extra bits not on the normal league lap. We don't want anyone taking shortcuts by accident :)

I'll get up over the weekend to do a bit of clearing

Happy to help out but probably wouldn't make it up early on the Thursday. If there's people around I could do Tuesday or Wednesday evening.

I can do an evening during the week. Won't be able to get up there early on the day

I'm free on Tuesday evening,could be there from 5pm onwards.

I'll be up there tomorrow evening from about 6:30

I'll be there from around 5.30pm today,I've a rake but no strimmer.

The main area to focus on is the bottom of section 2. The four areas in yellow. 2&3 are ferns which you can attack with your rake Mickky. I'll have a trimmer with me. There'll be a strummer too.
