Sunday 3 rock mayhem

some spin..some goobers..we had a bad start with MrT and a broken chain..followed by an exploding rear mech on the way to KDM...too bad for Lemmy O'Donaghoe.
then it was down KDM with several people ignoring my "lock her hard " suggestions inanyways of and around and up and down then up fairy castle then down by 3 rock and the fence...Mac the knife fell off his bike which was real funny..
off we went wondering how Dave was fixing his boike..then down Fewgirls trails and
INSERT EXPLETIVES HERE
Then across to Blue light lower..
Then i turned my back and everybody but the real hardcore extreme XC riders went home..
you can't DNF on a spin..if you let that set in you'e all doomed..
inanyways we did KDM again and up to 3 rock and down the boneshaker and The Dream Track or was that just a dream..Sean went and bruiserated his arse..

and yeah that female Goober going along from 2 rock to fairy castle was really wearing kneelength white socks circa. 1975...weeird..what happened to poor little Adam tarbert wandering around 3 rock like a lost soul..3 rock is a cool old spot when you use your imagination.
Joe and I were chased down by a fine Goober on a faulous full susser just as we reached the top of the Bone Shaker and great to see Colin Bright out giving it loads ..
pverall a pretty damn good spin but would somebody explain to me why the fireroads are such a big attraction to the MXers...I know where I'd be going if i had one

I think there was some 'external interference' in that event, not naming any names, but there was this lad on a pogo-forked bike that looked like a group-cert metalwork project gone badly wrong, shouting and weaving all over the place...

anyway, that spin made my weekend, there was everything you wanted,
I think we used every decent (and some indecent) trail on that mountain, every descent well worth the climb

It was a cool spin today. Lovin the old school style sunday spin much craic and cool trails although some of Fergals trails have identity issues which need resolving and some signing so we don't end up going round in circles. I think they even had our goober/staker confused as to what we where at. Colin is back to bike breaking form. He has a nice crack in the front of his bike now.

Yeah, bye bye commencal, top tube is cracked nearly all the way around the tube, hopefully get a warranty replacement...

Good craic though, really enjoyed it, sorry I missed the end of the spin, just couldn't face going back up the hill again...

Nice one lads, that's the kind of action we need more of, I on the other hand had a very tame and pleasant early spin around Kindlestown/GOD, yet suffered the ignominy of body slamming a tree at speed, you know the kind, where as you are heading for it you know it's going to be worse than usuall, I don't think me or the tree have recovered yet. Tree slamming in GOD, the shame. We hooked up with a couple of lads looking for an advertised MAD spin, they looked confused.

confused is better than terrified, Sean let a shout at a few MAD lads on Sunday and they scurried away in terror - I mean legged it as fast as they could go!!
I know who they were, I must ridicule them when I see them :-)

That spin was deadly, lots of bits of me hurt, someone remind Rob Davis to send out a memo next time he’s planning on moving landings 10 foot further away:o.

What was the story with the mad lads??? It was very odd.
