I have to totally agree what a spin. Great weather, amazing trails and a great gang out. The first desent we did was some of the best downhilling I've done in a long while completly out of control for most of it but it was some buzz. Spins like this is the reason I got into mountain biking. Brilliant use of 4 hours Cheers Richie.
even though there were several and many deadly riders out there today..the rider of the week has to be Flamin Eamon..up and down today he was savage..he was one of the first up Scarr and one of the first down..on an old going to the shops hardtail Specialized rockhopper..not to mention his Curry and Coke sculpted physique..nice one Eamo..as for Sylvia on her pedal Motocrosser..good luck to the rest of you...and no, maxxis advantages are a pile of shoite and XC performance or whatever was written on my tyres....well they are not for freeridng baby..!!

" don't go over the bars, Bob"...deadly..whats with all the afros..Bob, sean ,Luke..by the way..thats 2 broken bikes in 2 weeks..Colin last week and Starsky Cummins this week..oh and you all missed Al, he went so fast on the St keVins boardwalk that he overshot a corner..fun stuff altogether..mac the knife had a big crash on the double track on the other side of Scarr..Sylvia knocked colin off his bike..way too many funny moments..I'm sure I missed loads on the ewoks..
legend spin. Scarr has to be the best mountain in Wicklow theres so many cool ways to go down it. Byrner you had some turn of speed for an auld fella. Wish i'd sen Cummins crashes they must have been spectacular to inflict that sort of damage to the frame.
oh yeah, lads and girls and transgender members..get yourself a 6" travel machine..freeride, extreme XC whatever you want to call it..something you can ride up the hill and then bate back down..I was on a Morewood Mbuzi yesterday courtesy of the Bike Rack in Cabinteely..

felt like my Orange patriot but stiffer...the Orange marzocchii Bombers with ETA were deadly..i was very comfortable on the climbs with the forks locked down and the rear DHX shock locked out..
lovely, lovely machine..
and so much fun to ride..it was deadly being able to ride uphill without my normal pogo effect going on..
go and have a look at the morewoods in the Bike rack..very nice..
the only thing I'll say about taking bikes like these out on Sundays is..unless you are a savage, you are going to kill yourself pedalling uphill..so be aware of that , sit back..use your granny ring..take in the view ,then kill it on the Downhill...
