Rory Walsh is back on the Thursday evening scene all fired up for an assault on the remaining 8 rounds of the league and determined to light a fire under the arses of the Elites next year
Greg Callaghan has had a set of wicked XC leg-guns grafted onto him and was boorsting around the trails to finish in first place - don't you just hate it when savage downhillers show you up at your own game? ah well, just need to try harder, good man Greg
Only 1 second between Oz, Roo and Luke on their first lap - they must have some seedy 3-way man-bond going on there, right behind each other's rear ends for a full lap, weirdoes...
then the mandatory debate, banter, insults, shocking stories/lies, slagging, beer, and chicken "boorgers" followed in Palmers....Thursday nights eh...like a mini-weekend come early......

by the way..look at how close everybody finished to each other..no fukkin robot could contrive those handicaps..I was caught out by the pair of bangers who came first and second..!!
Loved it tonight, oh yes, nice and dry, a bit of go in the legs at the end and chasing and being chased from the off. The last section was stuffed with riders all hammering for the finish line, mega. The spin off the Scalp at the end was the icing, what are you faux mtb'ers doing taking the road back to Palmers?
Oh yes, and my new trick of shouting my time from the bottom of the hill didn't work, those cunning timers! Thanks to them and all the other support, when I see Richie I always go faster, not sure if it's the encouragement or fear.
Cheers to the timers and Richie for the abuse. That race just hurts I need something to distract me from how much pain I'm in when I'm going around. I might get an on board entertainment system or an on board stripper pole that should do the job.
Pressure starting to tell ..... all over the place last night! Burst a gut trying to stay with Shona and Peadar on the 1st lap and went downhill (slowely) from there! Greg showed absolutely no respect for the fact that he's 30 years younger than me, leaving me for dead, on what looked like bloody downhill bike! Very Cool Kid!! Thanks to timers and Silvia for the encouragement and Richie for the abuse. Great laugh as always in the pub and Fergal I still maintain that Sports riders deserve a proper championship!!
I think I might give up racing altogether and just do my Coach thing from now on..I will edit the video when I have time..the bits I videod are deadly though..
