Let me know if there are any errors in the results and we'll get it sorted - Carol it looks like there was a mistake with your second lap so we will get it fixed and post up a corrected version tomorrow. I think your corrected time would put you in 13th, so everyone after Carol will be one place lower.

That was so much fun in the wet, it was so drifty and deadly. Wasn't ideal getting there and having to go straight away but ahh well, I loved it! It's a shame these things are almost over now!

well, that was a brutal race for me but the first and only brutal one of the season, I've concluded that Ignitors on the back are sh!te, but deadly on the front, time for the rear Crossmark to return (Don, I have added this tyre digression in the hope it might make you feel better - you looked in a world of pain on the way back my friend....)
the never-ending sagas and back-in-the-day stories that can be told by misters Minister, Fawlty and Boorner never cease to fascinate me....it's like Extreme Jackanory for grown-ups...
ah hear..theres a heap of stuff I've forgotten but we only have 3 years to wait until I have my 50th Birthday bash..then you can hear the real non cycling related stories from my family and my non MTBing mates...jeeesus!
Great race were it not for the extreme pain, I was kind of riding off centre to minimise the pain in my ribs, and then ended up with excruciating lower back misery as well, basically my whole torso is a wreck. I drove home using my tongue.
Thanks to the timekeepers and Bon for getting the results up so fast...great handicaps this week, everyone came rolling in together. I'm off to lay somewhere soft...
Much as I like seeing my name at the top of the list I'm afraid that I only finished 2nd! A chap called Darragh beat me - new guy, started with me! Many thanks to timers. Don looked pretty miserable - hope you're feeling a bit better today?
Richie's face when the waitress presented him with his "birthday cake + candles" was priceless - never seen him "struck dumb" before - I think he thought she was going to give him a kiss!! Great craic!
After three weeks away from the races I enjoyed that. The gap had taken it's toll though. Wow I was slow and unsteady. Whoever's been spraying the roots with WD40 needs to cut it out. The jokes gone too far. Thanks to Jack, Marc and the other timer for the encouragement, it was badly needed.
Well done for quick results and thanks again to all involved , I can confirm that Carol did finish 13th...... after i had dragged her into the bushes at the finish and as she and I extracting ourselves Ross and FLAN crossed the line before we called out our nos.
Sorry again Carol for messing up your finish ......Richie's handicapping is getting too good resulting in 3 (Flan :Yourself and myself ) of us approaching line together.
yeah , I can confirm that Carol did finish 13th after I had dragged her into the bushes on the finish line , as i was appologising to her both Ross and Flan finished before we called out our nos. ........Sorry again Carol ......Richie.s handicapping is getting too good and as a result the 3 of us (Yourself :Flan and Myself ) ended up approaching finish line together and I could not see too well in the red mist surrounding it .... Thanks again to all involved for another great night.
