unfortunately seeing as the no experienced race timers appeared to help us, the laptop timing didn't happen, however..I anticipated some sort of malfunction and recorded the results manually..
I would have liked to get lap times in but hey..I'm the president of the Club and one of the Golden Gods of Mountainbiking..I shouldn't have to do this kind if Admin nonsense !!
There was a brilliant battle up the front between the Superstars, and another one between the Hasbeen Devoy and the Blow in Smith..not to mention the sprint between Joe and Colin !!
Fair play people..and thanks to the visitors from other Clubs but I think that these results show how freakin deadly our XC riders are !!

Really enjoyed that - Course was in fantastic shape! Shame we didn't have a few more "Sports Goobers" out - I was pretty lonely for most of the time! Thanks to Dave, Richie and Mick for giving up their race - it's much appreciated!

I'm hanging up the carbon until Christmas.....
Had a ball, 1st for about 20 seconds then a frieght train of riders passing me up to xtc, Roo and myself had a great dice with Roo catching up I had a full over the bars body dab, I didn't have the legs to stay ahead of him though, deadly craic!!!! Thanks to Dave for timing and again to our leader for giving up his race once again!!!
hey, nothing pleases me more than seeing people improve, I was delighted to see Damo win his first Club Champs !! and see Shona, John ,RichardL and yourself come on and Rory is looking like hes getting his old magic back ( again!!) so its all good in the hood..
fair play to everybody who turned up and raced..
Oz and Jack for the Transalp..thats just deadly!!
I can't believe Shona bought Dirt Magazine by mistake instead of Vogue !! or big "somethings" , isn't that what she said ?
A great race, savage from the start and the course is full on all the way round. happy to sneak into the top 10. was winding smithers in on the second lap but he hit the boost button and was gone..!

I really enjoyed that me and smithers had a lovely clean race he came back from the dead with style and some grase! Thanks to the support. Well done to Cattle Farmer Damo Johnson, John Da teeth Doris and Alfonzo. Shiny red bike for everybody. Beer bed Beer bed Beer bed
That was great, course was lovely today, so dry. Thanks Richie for again being selfless and doing the timing and Dave. Was going to give up after first lap after an over the bars moment and then brake troubles untill you told me I was first Sports, couldn't give up then and just used front brake for the second lap. Shame there wasn't a few other Sporties out but it worked out well for me!! Cheers again Richie.
it was nothing, its great to see so many deadly riders in action! but i wish to fcuk some non racers would step up for some Admin feckin duties..there must be people out there who just like to punch in numbers and write **** down..
i was looking forward to riding the feckin course in the dry ..but i had a feeling this morning there was going to be issues with the timing !!
Great win Damo and savage racing by all. (club racing seems to be more competitive than open racing).
Looking forward to seeing a few more in the scratch group next year with this oul lad!
