Right so well better late than never Iâm finally getting around to running the Club Downhill Champs. Itâs going to be on Sunday the 6th of December in Cloon. Now this is open to any licensed club member you donât have to be a downhiller everyone is welcome. If anyone has been looking to try downhill racing this would be spot on for you or if you just want to keep the racing head on for the winter come and race. Iâll post more details closer to the time, but generally racing will start with first runs at 12.00, you can practice all morning but you must sign on with me by 11.00 on the day. There will be medals for the top 3 in each category. Categories will most likely be Juniors (which will everyone under 16âs), Seniors (over 16), Vets (Over 40) and ladies. Hope to see you all there.
And Alan, I was sendin the crap outta that teeter totter before I fell off the side of it, it was a calculation error. My calculations said I'd stay on the thing....they were wrong!
Nobody is aloud even mention snow until the feckin winter league is over, that god damed white fluffy ****e f**ked up my happy buzz something savage last year.
Can't wait for the 6th, I kind of feel guilty having a shiney top of the range 36lb DH bike to race on, mybe in the spirt of fairness I should rob me mother shopper and have a go on that.
Although since I have siad that now, the two feckers on the gates will probably beat me. Which I could live with, as long as there is no white fluffy ****.
