Great Race again tonight

Hey folks great race again tonight, a big thanks to Clo, Rory and Zoolander for doing the times, and Damo for the encouragement.
Paul o'Reilly from IMBRC is dynamite..hes looking like breaking the course record. Not to mention Sylvia getting faster and faster every week.
the crap weather did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the riders. As usual its the same people every week, all of them contribute hugely to the craic and the atmosphere and make the whole thing one of the best events. The course is amazing, you never get bored and it just challenges every bit of you.
The craic in the pub afterwards is legendary .
You don't know what you are missing by not turning up.
And having people like Fergal and the MAD riders and Dave O'Brien and the IMBRC posse makes a huge difference to the quality of the races.
Some man and his kids made a pilgrimage to see the race all the way from Newbridge,

yeah i saw that man and his kids ..fair play to him thats a good bit away ..good banter ..amazing trails and brilliant racing..im buzzin every thursday evening after the races .. :)

Even as Im off the bike, This is a weekly date not to be missed, Was very wet out there to night, But everybody was giving it socks in the rain. The banter in palmers was legendry,
I still can't get the kittens storey out of my mind, All who were there will understand.

yeah, well done EPIC for keeping the series as fun and challenging as it is, and it's great to have it shared with the riders from other clubs like UCD & IMBRC, when there's as many smiles on the finish line in misty, wet muddy conditions as there are on a sunny summer evening then you know you're doing something right...
