Blast Digging day Sunday 9th August

Like it says on the tin, no excuses
from 10.00 ..you all know what sections you need to do.

Hello..
you'll just have to sacrifice your sunday spin for this or like myself, cycle out to ballinastoe and dig, I will be leaving Palmers at 8.30 to cycle out..
going out to Enniskerry and up to Djouce and over the Shoulder of Djouce to where the track is..
Anybody else..
this will not be a picnic

Anybody heading out digging on saturday??? i'm not around sunday but will get my hands dirty on saturday if there's anything going on????

Is any up for digging on Friday afternoon for a couple of hours... Fergal/Richie how much is done on that upper section that I was on before .... or where to go what to do??

ok..for the record..we have a few issues with whats been built so nobody can build nothing unless, Al, Sean, Colin ,Skippy, Alan or myself is involved ..so Sunday is a building day, Its not a problem if you can't make it Una, there will be other times when you can come along, James, you've already contributed so don't sweat it..
some people haven't even offered..I've never seen them on a spin, heard of them on a spin or even came forward to help..
they can go elsewhere next year and we'll offer there places to new people,

James, that part we were doing is pretty much finished, possibly could do with beefing-up the support for the berm logs so they don't come loose - not much else though

yeah skip i'll be there on sunday, althought during the chainless sesh after the race last sunday i torn a few ligaments in my thumb so the hands sort of out of action for heavy lifting but i''ll definatly be there to help out.

I intend to be there with Cathal and Clive to tidy up parts of the Mattock Expressway.

Sound Mark dont worry it will be light work anyway im bringing TOOOOLZ. It will be deadly we might add a nice water feature also.

I'm away til Wednesday but Richie knows the bit I've been working on, just needs a wee bit of digging in one or two places and may benefit from a few barrowfuls of hardcore. Nothing urgent. Suggest I bring a small team out the following weekend. Or if anyone wants to work on this bit in the meantime Professor Byrne is in charge.

The gully below the fireroad (from bottom of Railblazer down) still needs clearing afaik if someone with a big loppers feels that way inclined.
