Well I hd a crap race due to a fooked up back wheel ( long story but I reckon it was worth it ) but 78 people..what a track, what a race !! it was like a wedding back in the pub..
I pulled over trying to pump up my tyre when Ryan went through with the pain train!! Savage !!
I thought my life was over when you pulled up with the devil grin at the start, jeasus we went up the 1st climb like a bats out of hell, of course I blew a bit,but then caught you just as you had a mechanical. then you caught me and then another mechanical I heard the turretts kicking in as I laughed goin up the steep climb which is a 1st. Thanks to timers and Wow 78 peeps thats savage. Build it and they will come springs to mind!!!
That was pain a mundo but as brilliant as always, riders all over the shop, Joe, Oisin and Alfie blew past me in section 2, Joe was very polite. Was saying to Richie after, the club course is as good as it will ever be, you couldn't improve anything on it. Well maybe that hole at the bottom of section 2 that wants to grab your wheel, but that is nit picking. My forks blew up and my front wheel tried to fall off, but if you don't have some kind of drama you must be at the wrong race.

Holy feck..it was the worst thing i've ever seen on a bike..how she did the hill climb on it is beyond me..she says her bike feels like a new bike now..

when those large groups go through all you can hear is mush from them.
Guys and girls you need to SHOUT your feckin numbers out as it really is hard to get it all in.

Wow, 78 people, that's pretty impressive!! Tough race tonight what with a stitch, legs cramping and lungs that would seem to prefer being in the dirt rather than me! Had a good battle with Basil for most of it and just managed to stay ahead. Cheers Richie, Shane and Terry for starting/timing duties.
That was deadly altogether, though had a mild cramp on 2nd lap when Harri and Andy when past like a steam train, and seeing culchie at the end, he looked like he had just had an appointment with the rapists.

Great racing on the course last night. I was crusing along on my second lap when the puncture fairy got me. (I was experimenting with a 300gram tire with not much preasure - lesson learned - more preasure next week :))
I got a lend of a guys DH wheel with a DH Swampthing on it for a final lap - holly molly that thing was a pig. Completely changed how the bike rode and felt like I was going up a 10% hill when I was on the flat. Really showed me how much light wheels make a difference.

I think I know which puncture fairy got you judging from where I saw you walking!! That little bollix got me 3 times last year and a whole load of others!!!:)
you should train with those on all the time
then on race day pop on the light ones and away you go

Ryan is preasure the same as pressure or is it some type of different gas or something?
