Nationals -Marshal - Bouncy Castle

Right, the job of the 2010 XC National Champs has become available.

I need someone to keep an eye on the bouncy castle on Sunday.

I would prefer if this person has experience dealing with children, either as a parent or professionally.

Anyone who has already volunteered as a marshal can put themselves forward for this.

It's a tough job, but there'll be no midges and you'll be near the cake tent.

I was about to put myself forward for this, and then I thought "why would I deprive one of ye the joy of having to tell my darling daughter that she shouldn't be hopping young lads off the side of this thing".

At my kids fundraiser they had a huge one, 10 minutes sessions and limit the number of kids on (depending on size) at any one time is a safe way to do it. Free for all's and the associated concussion and broken limbs are to be avoided.

Sounds like you've just nominated yourself there Don. There's a lot to be said for experience!

So far the best offer I've had has been from the Culchie.

Think about that, think about the childrens' welfare, and volunteer.
