I've noticed lately a tendency for people to think they can just turn up for spins after a lengthy absence.
Well I think its extremely rude to think that you can just turn up.
Show some respect to the spin leader by at least asking them personally first if its alright, especially as they have committed to running spins while you were off losing any fitness you might have had or have forgotten what it means to be in a Club..
being in a Club is a commitment.
Being in EPIC means committing to the CLub League or at least to the races.
It also means that you start at a handy level and work your way on to my spins.
Theres absolutely no point in being in EPIC unless your goal is to kick my arse on an XC spin.
We have to have standards, otherwise we're just like any other club. I don't want random members claiming EPIC membership, they have to have at least the same level of devotion that I have. Otherwise wheres the point.
