Next Beginners Spin

I want to get out with a few experienced riders who will break me in so when is next beginners spin? Am gagging to get back up there... Barbara

Ha Ha ...it's all tongue in cheek! : ) at least it got a reply...! Not the one I wanted ha ha : ) I want to get out as often as possible so I can familairise myself and get to know the terrain you frequent. Skill, savvy and training required. So I'm an avid student if there is another beginners spin - don't want to wait though I almost crashed this morning cycling to work at all hours staring up at three rock wishing I was up there instead of the Alfie Byrne Rd in Clontarf! : ) Cmon whose willing to mentor me to a level that i can demolish the hills?!

Funny that Alfie and Byrne without the rd bit, are both coaching mtb!!!! I think its a bit late in the year for begginers spins. Probably the new year before it happens, I'm sure there will be a post, so keep an eye out.

well i'm running a coaching session this Friday morning 9.00am at Ticknock..i have 3 people..you can come too, its €30..skills session and abuse.

Ah damn and blast. I missed this post as I wasn't online. Working Mon-Fri wasn't off. Are there any coaching sessions over the Crimbo? Skills...excellent...session...brillo...abuse..ah well that's par for the course eh! All I know is I want to be able to take part on a regular basis and I'll do what it takes to be in tow (even at the back) : ) Thanks amillion Richie...let me know re: next coaching session. Failing that I'm taking someone at gun-point ... that should work!

It's never too late for a spin... I did a road spin last night with some hills ...freezing rain eughhh but who cares,. once it gets me to my goal. Mid-week is a tough one as it is dark when I leave work to get off-road. Think I might ask the IMF to bring some flood lights when they come into our puny republic to dissect us..well they're not getting my bleedin bike that's for sure!

Would you not try a mid week training spin on the road??

I dont not what level of fitness your at but these might be worth considering...

I will not be running any beginner spins or coaching for anything other than advanced riders. i'm afraid.
its all about the racing next year for me.

I cycle everyday plus heavy weights work-outs and spining classes and as much time on the bike as I can get... I appreciate you only have so much time and your focus is on racing. I will do what i have to do to cut the mustard. Your an inspiration in any case : )
