Thanks to all the timers and AndyW for the starting.And Shona taking great delight in slagging me about weight saving as I started each lap!! Great nights racing.Got a personnal best of 11.54,am very very happy with that!!And great craic in Palmers after.Thanks,Micky

yeah...more great racing... I absolutely love the club League now..thanks to Richard and Shona , i don;t have to worry about the timing, the timers , nothing. its great.
the racing is great, fantastic groups setting off, legends being made, the craic in the pub afterwards exceptional.
however..its week 2 and i have had a few complaints about arseholes..ranting on the final lap becuase they are being held up.
" what the fcuk is going on up there ? Rider up rider up " from several riders back. cop on to yourself, if you are that much of d1ckhead you can find somewhere else to be on a thursday.
This is not good..I will find out who you are before next week and you are gone.
if you are good enough, you will find a way past.
I have been stuck behind several people the last couple of weeks. Knocked off my bike twice tonight because i was in a hurry to put some distance between myself and the really fierce tonight. Big deal, its supposed to be fun on a Thursday, for everybody !
If you are a real animal then how come I don't see you beside me on a Tuesday night spin ?

Now I did shout and abused... but only at Smithers, I suppose that's allowed isn't it?

That was great as always. Thanks to timers.
Enjoyed that much more than first week and the lower back is getting a little bit more used to the abuse (so hopefully next week it'll be back up to strength)

Some great times in there too, especially Orla. I heard Richie praise her before but hadn't realised she'd made such a massive jump! Well done.

thats allowed..I have figured out who it was. they are not members of EPIC. If it happens next week they'll be booted out of the league.I'll leave it up to your own cop on to know who you are. I actually figured it out before I got a text hanging the fool !
its a small town and come on, its the EPIC club l on a small course with people of all abilities , show some frickin consideration for those not as gifted as yourselves.
This league is for up and coming riders of all ages and abilities. I will not tolerate so called superstars shouting at weaker riders whatsoever.

Another great race with the clouds of dust, we're in for some shock when the weather goes pear shaped. Felt stronger than last week but still pretty dismal times, a couple minutes quicker than last week so progress of a sort. At least my shoes didn't explode. I put a killer move on Colm on lap 1 down the gnarly descent, got by him then didn't he boot me off the bike into a heap of dirt, he may look mild mannered but he's a racing animal. I'm so tempted to bring the full suss to one of these, I'm convinced I would be way quicker than the HT, but having just bought the damn thing it would be quite a betrayal. We shall see. People are flying, the times are unreal, well done Mickky, great to see Migual again, what a great way to spend an evening. Every emotion under the sun, all wrapped up in 60 minutes.

The craic in the pub is brilliant. i realise a lot of folks can't come in to the Pub..but for me thats the best bit and the blast before and after with Damo and Alfie.

keep coming, get stronger, come to the Pub..Greg Callaghan is a legend, some savage for a boy more than half my age !!
