Slower times due to greasy course but still some fast ones..I would have won if paddy blockarse downey hadn't got in the way !!

Thanks to Micky, Mick, Ste and Rudolf for starting/timing - really appreciate it and good job! I was as cranky as **** before and during the race but the craic afterwards calmed me down no end!! Richie (in holiday humour) "Holding Court" is always a great laugh ..... even if it's not very PC!!

everyone was the same Jacksie, by back wheel had a mind of it's own going sideways whenever it got the chance - thought I was either running slicks or 97 PSI - but no - a fouler power was in play:

I suspect those roots absorb, then ooze the grease from their pores, science has proved this to be true
New PB for me, again. That Kashima lovelyness is good for 4 seconds. Bruce on my tail through the last single track on both laps helped.
I think I need to drop the forks by a few mil. 140 is awesome, but the front end way too light on the steeper climbs.
Thanks to the Micky for starting us off, and Ste T and Rudolph and someone on the robot for timing us last night, great encouragement every time crossing the line, it really helps !
Another great race, with my fat Rubber Queens and plush 5 inches of travel the slidderyness was not problem, grip, grip and more grip. Had the dice of the century with Colm, even closer than usual, he being the gent would let my by (usually!) entering the singletrack, I would try and then get enough of a lead to hold him off on the next fireroad climb where he would come powering past. Lost count of how many times we past eachother. Thanks too for all the good folk who pulled over on the various sections, when you are pushing that is very welcome and appreciated.

do what us 'pros' do; put some pipe insulation on your stem, then lower your chin onto the stem during climbs, and the front stays planted to the ground - you look deadly doing it too
yeah great crew last night on the Bridge of NCC-701a EPICmtb..I had a great race with Mel, till some goober, one of the Kens, fell over in front of her..
I got away from her then and away I went..there were multiple dabbers all over the place, well done to Rob McSlow on his win..
Smithers was hilarious doing his semi naked crazy person act !!
